Briefly describe the design of the underlying driver of the RTL8019AS network?

    Answer

The driver of RTL8019AS includes the initialization program of the chip, the receiving data program and the sending data program. The controller sends and receives data with the internal RAM as the core. The RTL8019AS has two internal RAMs, one 16KB of RAM for storing the forwarded data and the other with 32 8 of RAM.Since the RTL8019AS receives or transmits in units of pages, even if a page is not completely filled with data, the next packet of data cannot continue to be used, and only new pages can be used.Dual port means that the RAM is connected by two sets of buses, and the controller performs DMA access to the internal RAM through the bus a.In order to distinguish between host and chip access, this access is called local DMA access; and RAM access by the CPU through bus b is called remote access. The driver writes the already encapsulated data to be sent to the chip in the specified format, and starts sending a command, and the data is sent out.Similarly, after receiving the physical signal, the chip restores it to data, stores it in RAM according to a certain format, and notifies the main program.
