To cover-up a large number of peripheral functions,the device use pin multiplexing extensively in the possible smallest package. Pin multiplexing is controlled by setting hardware configurations and register control to make it work properly to achieve configuration.

What is CC3200R1M2RGC?
CC3200R1M2RGC is a single-chip microcontroller unit supported with built-in wifi connection industry’s first Wi-Fi CERTIFIED based on the concept of internet of things. The device consumes a high-performance ARM Cortex-M4 MCU to provide users a wireless experience by developing the complete application by a single IC. The initial or previous wifi experience is not required for quick development with on-chip internet, robust security protocols and WI-FI.
The device comes in QFN package that is easily usable consisted of software, tools, reference designs and application samples providing a complete platform solution. CC3200 is riched with wide variety of peripherals which includes a fast parallel camera interface, I2S, SD/MMC, UART, SPI, I 2C, and four-channel ADC. The device includes an industry-standard ARM Cortex-M4 core which runs at 80MHz.
CC3200R1M2RGC uses a ROM with external serial flash bootloader and flexible embedded RAM for code and peripheral drivers. The Wi-Fi network processor subsystem includes 802.11 b/g/n radio, MAC, and baseband with a powerful crypto engine for fast, secure Internet connections with 256-bit encryption by featuring Wi-Fi Internet-on-a-Chip and contains an additional committed ARM MCU that fully offloads the applications MCU.
