    The MCP73832-2ACI/OT is a high advanced linear charge management controller developed by MICROCHIP. These charge controllers are ideal for use in space-constrained and cost-sensitive applications. Their small form factor and the need for minimum external components render them ideal for use in portable applications. The MCP73832-2ACI/OT is fully compatible with USB standard and supports USB charging systems. This advanced device employs constant voltage/constant current algorithm along with selectable preconditioning and charge termination. There are four options available for voltage regulation and the current regulation is set by the external resistor. The device also offers several options for preconditioning threshold, preconditioning current value, charge termination value, and automatic recharge threshold.
