    Usually, when some substances are mechanically deformed by external forces in a certain direction, polarization occurs inside and generates electric charges on the surface; when the external force is removed, these substances return to the uncharged state.The phenomenon of converting mechanical energy into electrical energy is called the piezoelectric effect.
