    What is ADXL345BCCZ-RL?

    The ADXL345BCCZ-RL is ultra-low power and small size 3-axis accelerometer. The ADXL345BCCZ-RL is a 13-bit accelerometer having range of ±2 g/±4 g/±8 g/±16 g. The ADXL345 is well suited to measure the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock. Its high resolution (4 mg/LSB) enables the inclination change measurement by less than 1.0° And the excellent sensitivity (3.9mg/LSB @2g) provides a high-precision output of up to ±16g. A well-known use of ADXL345BCCZ-RL is in mobile devices. The ADXL345BCCZ-RL measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications.

    Low power mode: Low power modes enable intelligent motion-based power management with threshold sensing and active acceleration measurement at extremely low power dissipation.

    The ADXL345BCCZ-RL is supplied in a small, thin, 3 mm × 5 mm × 1 mm, 14-lead, plastic package.

    14 SCL/SCLK Serial Communications Clock. SCL is the clock for I2C, and SCLK is the clock for SPI.

    WHERE TO USE ADXL345BCCZ-RL?

    ADXL345 have multiple applications in industry and science. Highly sensitive ADXL345 are components of inertial navigation systems for aircraft and missiles. ADXL345 are used to detect and monitor vibration in rotating machinery. ADXL345 are used in tablet computers and digital cameras so that images on screens are always displayed upright. ADXL345 are used in drones for flight stabilization. Coordinated ADXL345 can be used to measure differences in proper acceleration, particularly gravity, over their separation in space; i.e., gradient of the gravitational field. This gravity radiometry is useful because absolute gravity is a weak effect and depends on local density of the Earth which is quite variable.

    Connect ADXL345 with Arduino as shown in Fig.3. (VS, VD) and GND of ADXL345 is connected to VCC and GND of Arduino respectively. SCL of ADXL345 is connected to Analog In A5 and SDA of ADXL345 is connected to Analog In A4. Download the code required to operate ADXL345 from below link:

    After uploading, open Serial Monitor, where you can receive the data from ADXL345. When the acceleration of the module changes, it will be reflected in serial window.
