What are the main features of the LTP protocol?

    Answer

    (1) In the LTP protocol, the data block is divided into two parts: the red part (red-part) and the green part (green.part).Among them, the red part data transmission must use the confirmation and retransmission mechanism, which ensures the reliable transmission of the red part data; and the green part data transmission is tentative, so this reliable mechanism is not adopted. The last segment of the red part of the data block is the end of the red part (end of red.part, EORP).When the receiver receives this part of the data, it indicates that the transmission of the red part has ended. At this time, the receiver must send a confirmation message to the sender indicating that the part of the data has been received.

    (3) The LTP data stream can only be unidirectional, so the data acknowledgement and retransmission packets are different from TCP. The LTP acknowledgement and retransmission packets are not directly attached to the data segment, but are encapsulated in aIn a separate data segment. Therefore, LTP will generate message messages from time to time, and messages that cannot be immediately transmitted will be cached in the queue, waiting for the appropriate transmission opportunity.(5) LTP relies on the accurate calculation of the time when the message arrives at the destination node. This is done to ensure that message retransmission can be performed at the correct time.Because the strict lower bound will make the calculated time as early as possible, the cost may be that the data retransmission operation is redundant, but once the lower bound is too loose, the calculated time may be later than the actual arrival time, the cost will beData retransmission is not timely, increasing the delay of data transmission. The transmission session of the data block can be cancelled by the sender or cancelled by the receiver.(7) LTP solves security problems through both Authentication and Cookie mechanisms.
