    What is the pyroeletric effect?

    Some crystals undergo polarization when the temperature changes.Heating the crystal evenly produces an equal amount of charge in some directions of the crystal.When the crystal is cooled, the change in charge is opposite to that when heated.This phenomenon is called the pyroeletric effect.
