    What must the CPU do in response to the three cycles of the interrupt?

    Answer

    (1) Shutdown interrupt: The CPU first sets the corresponding “priority activation” trigger that is responded to by the interrupt to block the interrupts of the same level and low level.

    (2) Breakpoint protection: The address of the interrupt point (breakpoint address), that is, the contents of the current program counter Pc is pushed to the stack, so that the original program is continued when the interrupt is returned.
