What are the commonly used random access memories?

    Answer

    (1) Static RAM (SRAM) Static RAM is characterized by the ability to reliably hold stored information without the need for refresh operations. As long as the power supply is uninterrupted, information is not lost. However, it consumes more power and is more expensive than dynamic RAM.Commonly used in microcontroller application systems with small data storage capacity. For these reasons, the application of dynamic RAM in the microcontroller system is limited, and it is particularly suitable for applications requiring large data storage space.

    (3) Integrated RAM (iRAM) Integrated RAM is a DRAM with its own refresh logic.
